“There is a label on the back of the e-Paper display. How do I read it?”

There are 2 methods of labeling EPDs and the details can be found in each product specifications for each e-Paper display:

The previous version of labelling (prior to 2012) included just one label because the manufacturing process took place at one site. Older labels used the following:

The top label is for the front-end process from TFT LCD (Thin film transistor liquid crystal display), FPL (Front Plane Laminate), Protective Sheet to Edge Seal assembly.

The lower label is for the back-end process from Chip on Glass bonding, FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) cable bonding to Testing and Cleaning.
